Aeronautics is the science of flight within Earth’s atmosphere. Flight dynamics is the study of how aircraft move, respond, and remain stable while flying. Together, they form the foundation of all aviation—from birds and gliders to fighter jets, airliners, drones, and future aerial vehicles. This course introduces students to: How flight is physically possible How forces act on aircraft How aircraft achieve stability and control How pilots and control systems maneuver aircraft How modern aircraft and UAVs are designed By the end of this course, students will not just know that aircraft fly — they will understand why, how, and under what conditions they fly.
