Every space mission begins with a rocket and lives its life as a satellite. Rockets are the only machines capable of overcoming Earth’s gravity, while satellites are the long-term explorers, observers, and workers of space. Together, they form the backbone of: Space exploration Communication and navigation Earth observation Scientific discovery National space programs This course introduces students to how rockets work, how satellites are designed, and how missions are planned and executed, without overwhelming mathematics. By the end of this course, students will understand how humanity reaches space and stays there.
